I am incredibly sad to say that Thyme at the Park will not be reopening on the 4th July and will be permanently closing.

These past months have been particularly challenging and uncertain times for all of us. The lockdown/closure has had a significant impact on our business, finances and potential future sustainability. This has been an incredibly difficult decision.

I would like to thank my fabulous staff, many of whom have been with me since the very start of my wonderful journey of the Thyme cafes (Thyme by the River at East Molesey Cricket Club, TBTR at Molesey Boat Club, Thyme at Riverhouse and Thyme at the Park). I would also like to say a huge thanks to our superb customers many of whom have become our friends and their canine companions!

I do hope that I will see many of you around and about locally.

With very best wishes to everyone, keep safe, healthy & happy.

I have been dreaming about Thyme on the park throughout lockdown. Coffee and teacakes served by Bela, with my 2 labradoodle, was the highlight of my day. It had all the ingredients for a perfect cafe. I'm gutted, and so so sorry for you all xxx ... See MoreSee Less

Comment on Facebook I am incredibly sad ...

So sorry to hear this Tamsin, after all the hard work over many years from you and the team and the wonderful venue you’d created for so many in the community to enjoy xx

So sad to read this. I hope new ventures come your way

Hi Tamsin. So SO sad to hear this about Thyme. Absolutely loved everything about your cafe, amazing food, brilliant service and staff and always a great atmosphere. You will be a huge loss to the high street. I hope your other cafes haven't suffered too much. Such sad news for Hampton Hill.

It’s so sad Tam, such a huge loss. I wish you all the best with your next venture. Thank you so much for all the donations you made to the community too. Look forward to a catch up soon!

I am so sorry to hear this news and my heart goes out to you all. Thyme at the Park was such a wonderful friendly place to be, full of beautiful energy. Lyn Amity Dade and I felt so 'at home' there hosting out Meet The Soul Midwives gatherings. We will miss you. Wishing all the very best for the future 💜

Rosie, myself and Flora the hound are so sad to read this. You and your teams were always of gold star standard wherever you went. xx

We are very sad to hear this. My husband Michael and our dog Gerald loved our new found cafe, having moved from Australia. Your staff have been amazing! We thank you for being so welcoming and wish you all the best going forward. 💕

Sorry to hear that Tam. You always threw yourself into every venture, and all with a smile and good grace. I enjoyed every moment working with you and Ken at the cricket club. I hope to see you soon💋❤️

So sad, but thank you for everything you have done to foster the communities around your cafes. Hopefully see you around.

I am so sad to read this. Your wonderful cafe has a very special place in the hearts of my family, not just for the many regular visits and celebrations we have enjoyed there but also for the fabulous Bridal Afternoon Tea we had in your function room last October. We were looked after so well, it was a truly lovely afternoon. Thank you so much to you all. We wish you all the best for the future and will miss you so much! ☕️❤️🍰

What terrible news, myself and many friends had lovely coffee mornings and lunches with you, as did my family. Friendly and welcoming and always my go to place. Best of luck for the future.....I wonder what will be there next?? C xx

Tamsin, I'm so sorry. Even though I'm no longer in HH. I had great memories of Thyme at the Park. I was visiting HH last weekend and was dying for a coffee from your shop. So sorry. We are in very uncertain times. All the very best for the future. Thanks for all your support when I was at St James HH. You are an amazing lady and it was great to meet you. Take care. Karen
